Yes and I used to think it was silly but when he "graduates", it'll be a big deal. His preschool is an intense therapy program, so graduation is about skill level and progress, not age.

Yes, but we will be out of town for a wedding and we will have to miss it. It makes me so sad, but our teachers are great and offered to do something special before we leave.

@regberadaisy: I guess where I live does things differently. We don't have universal preK in our area. My son goes to daycare but they follow a preschool curriculum. A lot of his classmates will go to kindergarten this fall.
