Is this a thing anywhere else? I registered my son for preschool this fall, and it is considered one of the nicest preschools in the area. Apparently, they are proud of themselves, because the principal gave me a flyer on how to order spirit wear with the school's mascot and logo. I didn't realize this was a thing, and now I'm wondering if we don't buy anything, will we be the odd ones out?

@regberadaisy: Haha I know, right? They seem to be big on marketing their brand, but it is a great school, so I'm trying to fit in with the other parents and participate however I can.

Ours doesn't but if I were you I would buy your LO a t-shirt and call it a day - that way if they ask you send your LO in wearing spirit wear you have something!

@Mamaof2: I plan to do that, but the flyer says there are also adult sizes, which I assume are for the parents. Do you think it's necessary for me to have a shirt too? I'm trying to think of where I would wear this. Maybe if I were to volunteer at the preschool for something?

@aprild: that might be a good idea! My DH volunteers at DS's school (public elementary) and he did get himself a school shirt

Yes, we have 'uniforms' at LOs preschool but mainly because it connects all the way up to middle school. It's bright orange and they wear it on fieldtrips.
They probably want adults to wear it to advertise their school and yes, like you said, for volunteering. We don't have adult wear (haha, that sounds funny) at our school.
