@MrsCastro: yes, there's natural progesterone cream you can buy on amazon. I bought the Pro-Gest brand
ETA: this http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B0001ZYLAO

@MrsCastro: you'll see a bunch of options online. The Pro-Gest one that Shutterbug mentioned has very high ratings.
You may also want to look into a pump version b/c they dispense the exact dosage, which is nicer than trying to guess what a "dime's worth" of the stuff should look like.

@Shutterbug: I've never had my progesterone checked. When I miscarried, they didn't see a yolk sac on the u/s... which to me would be a blighted ovum. Would you think progesterone would help keep a pregnancy?

@Ash: low progesterone is one of the main causes of early m/c. I'd definitely talk to your dr about getting your progesterone checked 7 dpo if you think it could be an issue.

@MrsCastro: sorry I'm threadjacking!!
@Shutterbug: is 7dpo too late to check it if you're pregnant?

@MrsCastro: there are also suppose to be good foods to eat while TTC to help with progesterone, like sweet potatoes or foods rich in magnesium. I think they're encouraged to be eaten earlier in your cycle, not just in the TWW.
I'm not sure if there have been scientific studies on this or it's just one of those TTC "facts" that have been spread around, but it's worth checking out.
@Ash: Someone I know who had a miscarriage was put on progesterone suppositories after she was pregnant again. If your doctor wants to test for this, I think the standard testing date is CD 21, so if you ovulate on CD 14, 7 dpo would be perfect.

@Ash: no worries. the more information the better...i just did the CD21/7DPO progesterone test last cycle...Dr. said to test 7 Days after Ovulation, if i knew when ovulation occured...
@Happygal: i will have to check out the natural foods...thank you!
@Shutterbug: thank you i will check it out...

@Ash @MrsCastro I've been staying away from POAS boards for my sanity but still lurking... I know the three of us have similar m/c timelines. Have either of you started to try anything different this round? I haven't started OPK's or temping yet, but I'm beginning to wonder if I should do something... @MrsCastro what made you decide to get Progesterone tested?
@Ash - now I've thread-jacked

@savanarunner: i had mentioned to the doc i wanted to do infertility testing a few months ago...she denied me because we hadnt been trying that long. she did agree however last month to do progesterone testing to confirm i was O'ing...i have been using OPK's since my first cycle after my miscarriage..and i am like clock work now O'ing somewhere between CD14-16...my level came back at 10.1 i thought it seemed low but she (dr) seems to think it is a "normal" range...whatever that means...
