I have written before about buying a used RnP and there being mold spots on the under-sling, that cannot be washed except by hand. A quick google search told me that this is a very common complaint.

I was able to contact Fisher-Price and they sent me a brand new one, but I would warn everyone who uses one (if it's not too late!) to perhaps put a blanket in between the pad and sling, or even a lap pad (the flannel waterproof things). Or if you're comfortable, under baby's bum.

Not worth the hassle of dealing with mold on baby items!
