Basically I'm lost. I have no idea what I am doing. LO was born on Monday night. It is now Friday night. My breasts feel different this evening. I have been pumping since Tues am. We still haven't had skin to skin---I held him once for about ten minutes on Wed. I got some drops of colostrum but they only want it in a syringe and I couldn't get it into the syringe. I want to cry for those lost drops. Today I am getting trickles of more liquid-y stuff but it's not enough to get down into the bottle and therefore I can't get it into the syringe. I just finished pumping and there was milk all over the flange and nothing went into the bottle. I just don't understand how to do this. When there is more milk will the force of it push the milk down into the bottle part of the pump? I'm so clueless!!!

Thank you in advance if you made it through my ramble and even understand what I'm talking about!
