I usually get anywhere between 1 1/2-2 oz per breast each session. Just wondering if that's pretty average....

I didn't pump long, but I started off getting 1-2 ounces each side. Towards the end of my pumping days (2 months pp) I was getting around 3-4 each side.

i usually get about 4oz total per session now and i pump 4x a day.
with charlie i would get like 10-12 ounces in the morning (because he slept through the night), and less as the day went on.

Are you pumping after feeding? Or straight up pumping?
I used to get 3-4oz a boob but I had an oversupply. DS is now 6w and I can 1.5-2 per boob and am trying to increase that since I'm now exclusively pumping.

I'm only pumping the side she doesn't feed from right now until I'm back to work on Monday but I get anywhere from 2-5 oz depending on the time of day.

@winniebee: just pumping, for when I'm at work.
@autumnlove: Geez! Your 3 am session pretty much whoops my entire 12 hour shift worth of pumping

I usually get 2-4 oz per session. I've only gotten more than that in the very beginning when I was ridiculously engorged. I would like to get a little more though.

I usually get 1-2 oz from the left and 3-4 from the right. LO takes about 5 oz per feeding so it works out perfectly.

LO is 5 months now- I pump 3 times and nurse 3 times a day. Each 15 minute pump session would give me anywhere between 3-7 oz.... 3 being late afternoon and 7 being somewhere around 9:30am if LO didn't eat much via nursing at 7-ish am. Typically each session will be around 4-5 oz though.
However, when I am stressed or panic ...etc. I would pump close to nothing. It is very freaky.

I exclusively pump and i get anywhere from 6-8 oz total per session.

I get 6-8 oz total in the am and 3-6 total in the afternoon session, which works out great because Lo has 2 5 1/2 oz bottles during the day while i am at work. I guess i have a bit of an oversupply but i am thankful.since it wld be hard to fit in another session.
As a side note, i took cold medicine for a few days this week and my supply tanked. It wasnt sudafed but it still did not seem to.work for me so be careful! Now things have recovered thankfully!

I usually get 8 to 10 oz total per session but thats if i pump every 4 to 5 hours. If I pump more often then i get about 6 to 7 oz. I'm trying to space out my pumping sessions hoping to slow my supply down in time for when I start work

@irene: There were a few times I pumped last week when I was engorged but super stressed and I had several 0 ounce pumping sessions! Not a drop came out....Freaky!!!

I get around 5oz. and I just do one boob. He's a one-boob-per-feed baby and 10 weeks old. Oh, and I only pump about once or twice a week. (I just keep two bottles 'ready' in the fridge at all times so I can leave for a couple hours or have a glass of wine).
