I feel like I have a 3rd puppy dog in the house. My LO crawls around and chases the dogs, she comes when I call to her, basically is trouble if left to her own devices, wants to hop in the dishwasher/refrigerator whenever they open, and whatever's on the floor she wants to eat. It's a cute stage though.

Ha, we always refer to LO as a puppy! He's around that age, he's 10.5 months now.

My LO isn't there yet. At 7 months she isn't crawling and is scared of our dog. I'm hoping she starts to like him though. @Maysprout: Did your LO always love your pup?

@artbee: For the first couple months she didn't really acknowledge the dogs but after that she pretty much loved them. They don't really know what to make of her yet because she doesn't have a very gentle touch yet so we have to keep an eye on her. Once in awhile they startle her but for the most part she's been a big fan and the dogs are starting to get better about how to put up with her.

DS is at that stage too (he'll be 10 months tomorrow). He follows me like a little puppy all the time! It's so cute, but I wish he wasn't into everything quite as much...like removing knobs and drawer pulls. I could do without that one lol

@anbanan15: Yes putting away clothes she just pulls them right back out. When we're in the kitchen she opens the cabinet to the pots and pans and pulls them out so she can bang on them.

@Maysprout: I'm jealous! My lo went from not acknowledging to "what is that big scary furry thing? " it doesn't he'll that he's snuck in a couple of face licks.

She is 6 months old and I feel like she's almost to this stage already. She loves the dog and crawls over to play with his feet and always makes a bee line for any dog toy left on the floor. Apparently they are way better than any of her millions of toys! Yuck!
i love this age. so cute!
