do you have to supply the whole credit report or JUST the score? I can print out the whole report but it's so much....I was just wondering if they need all of that.

I've never had to submit it myself. If they wanted it they ran the report.

I don't have any experience in renting, but I would think they would pull it themselves. Did they request the scores from all three bureaus?

That's interesting. Every place we have rented the landlord has always pulled it. That's part of what our application fee pays for.

@sweetkate: they didn't mention an application fee. usually, we would go through a realtor but we were introduced to this place through a friend who is moving out in a couple of months. we spoke with the landlord directly and he told us to meet him with copies of our license and credit report.

Interesting....I've always heard that they'd pull it themselves. But in this situation I'd print the whole thing out just to be sure? If they only need the score then you can just keep the rest.

as a landlord, we run the credit report and ask for an upfront application fee. it's not enough to just see the score, the whole report is needed to give a better idea of one's financial history.

@ladylulu: I wish ours would have done that since I already had a copy. They usually do want the entire report.

Weird...they should pull the credit report themselves to protect falsifying the document. Maybe it's just a Texas thing.
