LO is 8 weeks, and I've started to have short periods of time away from her. I always leave a bottle but if I'm gone for two hours or less, she rarely takes it. My question is about logistics for longer outings where I won't be easily able to pump. Do you all pump for every missed feed?

Of course when I go back to work, I'll be pumping for those feeds. But for something like dinner and a movie out with SO, or a wedding or something, what do you do? Is there a length of time you go by? She usually wants to nurse as soon as we're back together, so when would I pump?

I do regularly pump one side in the AM and after she goes to bed (sometimes), so I typically pump 2-4 ounces a day that she doesn't drink. She takes 3 ounces in a bottle.

Thanks for any thoughts you have, I hope the question makes sense!
