DH surprised me tonight with a Nikon D3200! We didn't get a lense yet (just have the stock/kit lense) because I wanted to do a little research and ask HB 
A friend recommended a 35 mm 1.8 dx since ill primarily be using it for pics of LO. What lense do you prefer?
Also, how did you learn the most about using your camera? Blogs, tutorials, trial and error?

Love that lens!
I just learned by google/playing around with it. I took a web class on back lighting through clickin moms that was useful because I like the look of backlit photos.

35mm 1.8 all the way! It is so versatile.
I learned about photo because I minored in it in college and went on to study it for one year in Paris :-).
