I didn't register for the one with the newborn napper due to some concerns mentioned in the Baby Bargains book. I know of a bunch of people who used just the bassinet part for baby sleeping so I figured it's not worth wondering/worrying for me! But that's just my 2 cents My baby is still cooking so no personal experience behind it.

I have it but I can't give you too much info on it. We had the intention of having her sleep in our room for the first few months, but we moved her into her own bed after the 2nd night home because she was such a noisy sleeper!

We have that one, he slept in the napper a few times, but we quickly switched to just the flat mattress. The two attachments we barely used.

We hardly used the pnp because DS moved into his own crib at 12 weeks (sttn) and we all slept better this way. We orig planned on keeping him in our room til 6 months, but that didn't happen.

We use the pnp now as his daytime crib while my mom watches him and that's where he naps (mattress)

We have a PNP at grandma's and DD never used the napper or changer. She just slept on the mattress part. I don't think the napper is worth it because they outgrow it so fast!

It's weird that it seems like no one uses the napper part, yet Buy Buy Baby doesn't even carry the basic one (no napper) in the stores! I registered for the basic one on Amazon because I plan to use a Rock and Play in the beginning anyway, but Lucie's List made me second guess. I suppose I'm glad I went with the cheaper one then.

I bought my sister the napper and changer one from her registry for her shower and she ended up returning it for a basic one too.

A friend recommended this to me a while ago and I kind of disregarded it since we have such a small apartment, but now reading these responses I am going to put a version of this on our registry. I'm thinking that before we even assemble our wooden crib, we'll use this either in our room or the baby's room (depending on if we have family visiting since we only have a two bedroom apartment) then eventually as a real pack and play out in the living room to contain the baby when we need a break and he refuses to nap. I just don't know which one to register for, there's one with an actual portable basinnet, but I don't think we need that since the entire thing looks easy to move in and out of rooms. Some of them don't have as much storage as others though and storage for us is key!

We didn't use it e cause it was too fluffy and like like a death trap. He did sleep on the changing thing!! And on the mattress itself

I've read cautions against using the napper unsupervised (in Baby Bargains as mentioned above and possibly elsewhere, but don't remember exactly) so we got one without that feature. It was hard to find though, most of them seem to come with the napper.

now i'm rethinking my registry choice

We still use the changer. We have 2 PNP and we have used them a ton.
