Oh man, that's a toughie. I always default to window because there is a lot to see and the LOs like to lean on the wall and stuff. Plus, it keeps little arms and legs away from the carts. But it's a pain for diaper changes!!

Window, it's a short flight!

I vote window also because you can have an arm rest for sure. But now I see there aren't any window seats available. I'd keep checking back because seats open up all the time or check with the counter at check in to see if they can give you a window seat at that time.

Some airlines will only let you install a carseat in the window seat, if that's relevant.

I would pay extra for a window and I hate paying extra for anything. The extra space, being able to block him off from surrounding people, and the distraction of looking out the window (and pulling the shade up and down repeatedly) is worth it's weight in gold... literally when we are talking airline prices
