I can't remember the exact ratio, but you can sub milk and vinegar for buttermilk.

Use the milk and pour a bit of white vinegar in it, maybe a teaspoon since it's a small amount, and you'll basically have buttermilk after a couple of minutes.

Was also going to suggest vinegar :). If you don't have any, milk will probably be fine since it's such a small amount.

For such a small amount I'm sure milk would be fine, but agree with above about adding a pinch of vinegar (lemon juice works as well) to milk and let it sit for a few minutes. I never have buttermilk when I decide to make biscuits so I do this all the time.
