I've been lurking for a while, but I thought I better actually say Hi.
I'm Jen, and I'm from BC, Canada. I'm 27 years old and I just recently got my teaching certificate. I work as a Child Care Worker in an After School Care Center. My husband and I have been trying for a baby for 8 months now with no luck, and I'm starting to feel a bit discouraged.
I love this site, and I'm so looking forward to getting to know you ladies.

Adira and Rachel - No I'm not charting. I might start if I'm not pregnant in a year but right now I think I would rather take it easy. My cycles are ridiculously regular though so it doesn't seem necessary.

Welcome to the hive! Hang in there...I know TTC can be so frustrating with everything in 2 weeks (as in 2 weeks for your period to OV, then TWW). Best of luck and hoping u get a sticky bean soon!

@alaya - if it helps, I'd always drink and have sushi during the first two weeks to make myself feel better, like "I can 't do this or that for a long time once I do get a BFP!". And now I know that it was true!

@shopaholic - I always have sushi at some point during the first week too! I have a huge weakness for spicy tuna rolls and I know I won't be able to have them once I get pregnant. I'm not much of drinker though... I usually will have one drink and then fall asleep.

@tysonja - I agree!! I'm in Victoria, so I think it helps being so close to the ocean. I always wonder about people who live in the interior eating sushi. You know that fish is not going to be fresh...
