West coast here, he goes from 2-5. I called in sick because Even though I've been out for over a week, and my cough is still brutal (and I work in a hospital). His cold'sbeen lingering, plus it was two colds back to back. Today for the first time he has runny nose (clear) but that's a new symptom. No fever, acting normal. Should I bring him? He loves school and I would love to do some cleaning. Plus he's missed so many days and it's money down the drain. I just feel guilty for some reason if he has a new cold and I don't really neeed him to go.

Sorry about the crazy grammar. Typing on my phone. Also, they have a holiday tomorrow for lincoln's birthday and Monday for Presidents' Day! Both days I was supposed to work and needed to find alternative plans. So he'd miss three of his school days in a row, that's his entire week.

@youboots: that's what I was thinking. Definitely according to the illness sheet, except it says first 24h of a cold I think, and if this is somehow a new cold?

I know you already sent him, but just wanted to be one more voice of assurance that it was totally fine. If I kept my kids home every time someone in the house had a runny nose, they'd be home from Nov - March, easily!

@erinbaderin: runny nose in the setting of recovering from a cold, and the runny nose/congestion was new so I was worried it was a new cold! But yeah I agree, I am sure he had a great time! Gonna go pick him up soon
