I made quinoa for the first time today since DH was watching Dr. Oz randomly and decided to go yeast free for a while. I followed the directions on amount of liquid, I thought.... But it turned into a pile of mush! It was about the consistency of polenta. I definitely overcooked it, but only because it was still really soupy and I wanted to dry it up.. The package said that the "grain ring" would be visible when done, but my grain rings were totally detached... Did I add too much liquid? We still ate it and it was tasty but so mushy. Help!!
