CBS' morning show discussed existing racial bias in light of the Zimmerman trial. The report noted a recent study about racial bias in pediatric care specifically pain management. Disturbing.

Our current pediatrician in the practice we go to now is awesome. At our last location our initial doctor left and we hated her replacement. She was out handling an emergency for one of our appointments and a black woman doctor (Doc McStuffins!) came in and we loved her. We asked the nurse where her practice was and then felt bad because it was so obvious that we were super excited about the black doctor.
