I used to hate these shows on principle but my roomate before I got married used to always DVR these and I got hooked. Now OC and Beverly Hills are my guilty pleasures. Well...when I remember they are on, that is. SInce having LO I'm not getting to watch much TV. =(

It's sick, I watch them all except for Miami. Though I have watched a bit of that one, I prefer the others lol. It's such bad TV, but so addicting.

I watch them all but Miami and now NYC. NYC went downhill for me when they made all the cast changes. Love Atlanta, OC, and Beverly Hills!

@Boogs: i watched Miami ' s first season when Larsa Pippin was on. I really liked that season even though i heard that show was really a Housewife show, but a different supper club concept. The Miami ladies don't hold my attention.
I wish DC would have worked.

@Littlebit: I know, I miss NY originals!
@Mrs. Lemon-Lime: Miami girls don't hold my attention either. I forgot about DC! What happened with them?

I only watch OC! All of the other cities' ladies seem SUPER cray cray compared to OC.

OC and Beverly Hills. I like to watch them and diagnose everybody with personality disorders.
And is it just me or is Brandi headed for breakdown city? My husband and I both think she has traits of antisocial personality disorder- but lately I've been thinking maybe she's also/or super depressed and an addict.

@Boogs: I watch Miami occasionally, but its boring and seems even more staged than the other ones. Its weird. Like the Miami version of CSI.

I like Beverly Hills, Atlanta and New York.
A couple of seasons back, OC started stressing me out so badly I could not handle it. It was back when Tamra and Vicky were so, so mean to everyone. Tamra has kind of wormed her way back into my heart, but Vicky is a heinous beast.

@meredithNYC: The OC stressed me out with the very obvious domestic violence against Taylor (even before the season when it all came to light). I felt like Bravo (and the other women) just sort of stood by idly. And then when they were all talking about how they didn't know if they could believe her- it made me sick. They are lucky it didn't become a murder-suicide- it easily could have. That guy was scary.

@meredithNYC: I Tamra. I didn't used to- but I think she's one of the more "real" women on the shows.

@Silva: Oh, you mean Beverly Hills? Yeah, I totally agree. Couldn't handle that mess at all since it felt way too serious for reality TV.

@Silva: Something is up with her for sure. I watch her and think, "No wonder her husband found someone else!" Haha and I agree about Miami housewives and CSI, lame-o. As for Taylor, as sad as it is, that was almost the best case scenario for her. Her husband could have taken her and her daughter's lives before his own.

@Boogs: I totally agree. I told my husband I"m honestly shocked it wasn't a murder-suicide. I hope she gets herself straightened out- she always seemed kind of nice but in a really desperate situation.
Re: Brandi- my husband pointed this out, but she has an incredible ability to fake emotions/ act/ change her emotional state- like she is super in control. She plays it off like she is a loose cannon, but she is super in control (hence our diagnosis of antisocial). There was a scene when they went on that little trip hosted by Joyce where she was downright terrifying in her ability to turn it on/ off.
Clearly I think WAY too much about the housewives.

BH.
Used to watch OC religiously, but I lost interest during the last two seasons.

@heartonastring: What about Vancouver?! Ha- we honeymooned in Vancouver/ Jasper and I was delighted to discover that show. There was one phrase they kept using- I think it meant to speak behind someone's back maybe? But they were all so nice and polite compared to, say, BH housewives.

I watch Atlanta and NY. I kinda watch Jersey but its gotten kind of sad because of the family drama with kids involved.
wonderful pea / 17279 posts
@msmug: @petunia354: i forgot about NJ- they have been off the air too long. My husband actually watches that one with me. I think he likes how the guys are super involved. Juicy Joe is his fav.
@Boogs: DC was super boring, but they did have the crazy wedding crashing duo. I wished Bravo had at least a half hour special on the cast mate who was adopted. I wanted to see her meet her African father and ambush her birth mom Catfish style lol.

@HabesBabe: me too, for some reason I can't get into the other ones as much!
Atlanta would be the other one I watch more often.

I don't watch anymore unless I happen to catch an episode (I haven't even figured out our DVR yet!) but BH, OC and NJ are my favorites, there's too much screaming in Miami and Atlanta...although I feel like they've all resorted to a lot of screaming haha! I think my favorite part about NJ is the Manzo sarcasm and I heard they have their own show coming out so I will probably catch that

I used to watch them a long time ago. I used to like NYC the best (when Bethenny was on). I watched DC too, I thought it was entertaining but then they cut it. I watched NJ and Atlanta for a bit. I stopped watching completely 1 or 2 (or more) years back then because I just got bored with the fighting on NJ. I am like, why am I wasting my time watching these people fight? NYC changed its cast so many times I couldn't keep up anymore...
I do watch the Bethenny spinoffs though until I had my baby in 2012 (and I literally had no time to watch TV). And I followed that show "The New Normal" where Nene was in. Too bad it was canceled, I really liked the show.
I am very surprised NJ is still up and running. So much fighting! IT is just tiring to watch. And the other spinoffs, like that blonde "housewife" from ATL (forgot her name), I thought was ridiculous.
