He got up with LO last night without me even having to ask (and stayed with him for almost an hour) so I could sleep. He also cleaned up all three of LO's vomiting episodes yesterday because he knew I was already nauseous from being pregnant. What a guy!

He makes me tea every single morning and brings it to me when I get up. I could go on for hours about it, but I'll spare you all my mushygushy stuff.

We have a similar sense of humor and like to spontaneously sing stuff. He humored me and we sang a bunch of two part harmony stuff for the girls a few weeks ago. He loves me and is always thinking about my feelings, even when we disagree. He is a fantastic father to both of our girls, and has a special bond with Ellie. He does lots of really unpleasant things to make my life easier and nicer (like taking all the dogs out every night to pee, even when it is far below zero). He tolerates and asks questions about my hobbies. There's just not much there not to love.

He is taking care of me while I have the cold from Hell.... Even though he obviously has it too.

He's committed to driving me to all my doctor appointments from now until the end of pregnancy. I have at least 3 a week, so it's a big commitment!

I was pretty ticked at him last night, but I love that he makes me laugh even when I am mad.

So many things! He never tell me to cook; he always always cooks for me and sometimes even help me with dishes. He knows the chores I don't like doing, so if he's home he will volunteer to help me with them. He always lets me sleep a little later and he'll get up and let the dog out, etc. This whole winter, I have never shoveled snow... He insisted on doing everything
He's not very romantic or good w/ expressing his feelings, so I appreciate all the things he does for me to show me he loves me! He always tells me his motto is happy wife = happy life haha.

He handles situations really logically and efficiently, before I have time to stop freaking out Like last night - ice storm, power went out. He had a fire going, my frozen milk stash out in a box on the porch to stay frozen, lanterns, warm pjs for the baby, and dinner.
He is also an awesome daddy

Because he knows me so well. For example: Last night, while getting ready for bed, a thought popped in my head. I said to him "you know, I'd really..." and he cut me off and said "I know" and smiled. I asked him what he thought he knew and he was totally right (that I wanted to get the tile replaced before the baby gets here), even though I hadn't said anything to him about it at all yesterday.
He's such a great father and husband - I'm a very lucky woman!

He takes really good care of me and LO.
Lately, I have been having horrible sleep issues. DH has been amazing and has been sleeping on the couch (he snores) and keeping the monitor with him. He takes care of any night wakings (LO rarely wakes up at night, thankfully!) and gets him first thing in the morning, feeds him, and brings him to me before going back to bed.
He WAH and I SAH and he always takes time out of his work day to play with LO and give me a break. Watching those two together makes my heart melt.
He is also really good at helping out with the housework. We have a partnership in every sense of the word and I couldn't be more thankful. Even if he does get on my nerves.

he stayed up with me even though we were both dead tired while i tried to get a fussy LO to eat and go to sleep, and he offered to go give her a bottle in the other room so i could sleep...when i said i wanted to feed her even though she'd only let me stand or sit in uncomfortable positions, he positioned himself as a pillow so i could lean on him and simultaneously rubbed my back and shoulders until i finished feeding her. He just does anything and everything to make my life easier, and is an amazing husband and father
and @locavore_mama: thanks, i needed a thread like this this morning to remind myself how awesome he is, because i was a crankypants this morning because of my fussy LO last night

He tried to swaddle me once in his sleep. Which goes to show how 50/50 he has been in this parenting gig. He has stayed at home with E for the last 9 months. He also washes dishes because he knows I hate it. this guy for more reasons than I can possibly list!
