We received sooo many receiving blankets at our shower. Some seem kinda small so I'm not sure if they will be good for swaddling. What did you do with all your receiving blankets...did you end up using some as burp rags, etc?

I returned a bunch of them. The others I used for spit up rags, stuck 2 in my diaper bag, used them for tummy time, swaddling, blankets, etc.

We use them as blankets. I like to have them around in case she's cold, or to put on the floor for tummy time. It's easier then using the activity center b/c she always ends up drooling or spitting up on them so I can just throw it in the wash and take another one out.

People always told me that you could never have too many blankets so I kept them but didn't use them all that much. If you have a ton, I would suggest returning some if you can?

@venice4504: Do you have the organic bamboo A & A blankets or the regular ones? I heard they are both wonderful!

I used them as burp cloths, mostly, and sometimes as an arms-only swaddle.
