I'm looking for something I can plug my iPhone into and play music in Ts room. We don't have a separate play room and we are in here 2-3 hours a day playing. Downstairs I just play music on Apple TV. I don't want anything that plugs the phone into the speakers since I've done that before then Apple changed their plug. Also nothing that had to be mounted. Any recommendations? Bonus points for Amazon Prime. I'm sick of playing music on speakerphone.

I would suggest a bluetooth radio. We have a couple of these - no plugging in needed.

@youboots: DH has one of these and loves it. It's Bluetooth so no cords or plugging in required. It's small and super portable.

We have a Bose Soundlink. It plays the music through bluetooth, which is nice. BUT there are way cheaper options out there!

We have a Jambox and it's great for this - tiny, really portable, rechargeable and Bluetooth so no cables.

I just bought a $5 one from Target and it is surprisingly good!

DH and I gave each other $10 ones for Christmas last year that plug into the audio jack (which probably won't change). I got his off Groupon. I think he got mine at Marshall's or a similar store.

I have this one and use it with my desktop computer as computer speakers. It gets the job done!
