Hellobee Boards

We have a North States play yard in our living room, although we have it set up to block off the room instead of having it enclosed in a circle. Like the pic below. It's really sturdy and looks nicer than the big plastic ones. My twins are 13 months and starting to climb everything but they can't climb these vertical bars which is nice!

We live in a smallish space--a 2 bedroom condo. And I never used play yards or gates. While I was cooking, I just let her play on the floor next to me or I would set her up with an activity in the living room (the kitchen is open to the living room).

LO is 22 months now and we've never needed any of that. I would be more interested if we were in a large house and I were doing stuff in a whole other part of the house where I couldn't see/hear LO.

Even from the bathroom off the living room, I can hear LO so I would just go to the bathroom while listening to what she was up to. Showers I took care of nights/mornings when DH was home or during nap time.

We live in a pretty small space, open concept so I can usually see her at all times, but I still found the enclosed play hard to be very helpful. Not for too long but that stage where she could crawl and get into things but couldn't climb or try to push it over.

We had this one- I bought it on Craigslist, but it was actually a real pain to clean. Not sure it was worth the savings since it had been kept in a dusty basement for a while.
