I'd like some non-toxic dishes for LO, but need recommendations.

LO is a big Elmo fan, so we've been using these. He gets so excited to see Elmo when he finishes eating:) http://www.amazon.com/Munchkin-Sesame-Street-Toddler-Plate/dp/B003XMWF4G#productDetails

We got ours at Target and got the ones that were labels
No BPA, etc. It's definitely better to pay a little more for the nicer dishes. We got some cheap ones on sale and even though they said dishwasher safe they started to crack and look worn really quickly. The ones that are like a dollar more per plate look great and the material is so much nicer and wearing well after a few months in the dishwasher

We have a few of the Boon slip resistant plates. They are great, but LO is 13-months and most days still throws them off the high chair.

I've given up on finding ones she can't pick up and throw - nothing seems to stick to the high chair tray. I like the oxo dishes with a removable rim for self feeding using utensils, and theTommy Tippee divided trays for finger foods. I don't microwave in plastic so not sure if these are microwave safe.
