For a boy, do you prefer the spelling Reed or Reid. Or something similar you want to suggest?

Reed! It is my sons name. It is also a very strong family name- it was my grandfathers name and is currently my cousin's name, another cousin's kid's name, and my son's name. So- 4 Reeds in one family!
Being from the Midwest- we are a big hunting family. My husband liked Reed because it is deer spelt backwards. "Reed's" is also a large sporting goods store. This is how I convinced my husband to like the name!
