Has anyone heard of this or sent their LO to a school that followed this philosophy? I don't see too many differences between this and the Montessori approach.... am I missing something?

There is a school attached to the amazing children's museum here that uses this approach, and it looks awesome. I'm a huge fan of any child centered, project based learning.

@Mrs. Yoyo @Sarac I feel like the difference just might be that Emilia is a little more play based and Montessori is a little more structured? After all you can send your child to a Montessori school through high school, but the Emilia approach is just for "primary" school and pre-school.
