LO has a nice warm sleep sack from Ikea that we like.
Eta: it's not fleece though

What about trying a sleep sack with legs? I believe Halo makes one and it shouldn't cause any disruption to her sleep as she will still be able to stand when she wants etc.

@Foodnerd81: we've been still using a sleep sack all along, so no advice about that, but the IKEA winter sleep sacks are really, really great. They are thick like a sleeping back and cheap! I have an Ikea thick sleep sack and the more expensive baby Dee Dee, and I actually prefer the Ikea one.

We kept the Dee Dee for next winter though, because the large is super super long, and the Ikea one prob won't fit next year because it's perfect now.

Can't recommend it enough! I don't know what the filling is, but the inside and outside are cotton, which I prefer over fleece.

@Foodnerd81: We re-introduced the sleep sack the first time C climbed out of his crib. It kept him in the crib for quite a few months after that. We finally had to transition to a toddler bed when he used his arms to press himself up and flipped over the side (little monkey!!). But, he didn't mind the sleep sack at all, and even though it didn't have feet, he could walk in it a little in his crib, so he didn't fuss.

I should note that we put the sleep sack on him backwards as a toddler so he couldn't unzip it and get out by himself. It wasn't too tight around his neck that way because he's a peanut, but the pediatrician said you can cut the neck a little and do an easy stitch to keep it from coming apart to give them a little more neck room if necessary.

We've always used a sleep sack for LO since he kicks off all blankets. Baby Dee Dee has a heavier one that we use for winter:

How is a sleep sack different from what you are doing now? Would you take off the fleece sleeper or put the sleep sack on over it?

My kids bedrooms are cold in the winter - 62 degrees and they slept in cotton footed sleeper and a fleece footed sleeper over that (as the blanket) and some nights they were sweaty.

I don't see any reason to change what you are doing now - I have learned that just because I am cold doesnt mean my kids are
