I think I'm ready to finally try & eat peanuts again! P had an intolerance reaction to them when she was a few months old (atleast I thought) and I cut them AND tree nuts from my diet. Well about a month ago P had some honey nut cheerios (organic kind) and did great so I know she's outgrown the almond issue.. I still hadn't tried peanuts again though b/c I felt so bad about her reaction (she gets a horrible acidic diaper rash & tummy ache), I was also kind of scared about an allergy reaction.
I SO miss peanut butter though so I think I may try a snack & see how she does.... I *think* me eating it would be better than her eating it right? It's the last thing for us to reintroduce so I'm nervous & excited.. Anyone else cut peanuts & then reintroduce them? How did it go?
