We've been married 6 years and were talking recently about how much of a trainwreck our wedding really was, and how honestly we hated the whole thing. We were so set on eloping that we scouted out a few venues in CA and actually gave a deposit to a photographer in Hawaii, until my MIL guilt-tripped me into recreating my nature-zen wedding in a hotel ballroom in Philly. No stories necessary; it was all such a disaster.

Anyway, we brought up the idea of renewing our vows and having the real ceremony we wanted with just the two of us. It was the first time I'd thought of a vow renewal and I wondered...have you ever considered renewing your vows? When/why/where would you do it?
