Do you do well re-selling your LO's clothes, shoes, etc?
I save most because I have two girls. But my youngest outgrew a pair of stride rite surprize sneakers before she really even got wear out of them. No bites on my local BST fb board though!
I ended up giving most of my DD2's hand me downs to a friend because no one was biting.

I like to sell them in those biannual consignment sales. I inventory, price, and tag the items, then drop them off before the sale. I get money for what sells, and whatever doesn't sell they donate.

I've been pretty lucky with selling the nicer things and some shoes. By now, I've figured out which brands people will buy second hand and what will be leftover. I donate a lot too.

I've resold a few things on EBay. We just don't know enough people who want them. They sell pretty well, especially shoes and baby stuff.

I only bother with certain brands. Mostly, I am still saving for our next kid but I watch the local bst boards. People seem to want almost brand new and at dirt cheap prices. Sometimes it's irritating enough to just donate instead.

I save some stuff from DD1 for DD2 (and now LO3...), but only good condition & unstained. If it's crummy looking, I just ditch it. If it's still in good condition after we are done with it (e.g., only one kid wore it, etc), I usually either donate to a friend or goodwill. Very few things actually command a price that is worth me dealing with taking pics, posting it somewhere, meeting up/mailing, etc.
The only things I have found worth re-selling have been some very specific items that were only extremely lightly used -- a Janie & Jack dress that someone had gifted me in newborn size, a zipadeezip sleepsack, etc.

I have sold through consignment and it was a lot of work sorting, washing, ironing, and labeling clothes for sale. The place I consign through only gives you like 60% of your sales so I'm not sure it's worth all of the work to do again. The place I consign through only takes clothes in good/great condition. I did LO's 4T summer clothes.
What I found to be more successful was to sell directly to friends/acquaintances. I priced things super cheap (basically what I would get at consignment - 60% of the sale price - or even cheaper). I generally priced things and only sorted by size. My friends went through and picked out the things they wanted. I only sell things in great/excellent condition. If it's not then it's in a stack for friends to take for free and I donate whatever is left. It was so much less work than prepping clothes for the consignment sale and I made a good chunk of money back which makes me feel better when when shopping for LO's new clothes
ETA: I've only sold to 2 friends so far (and others are interested) and I've made about $250

I sell to a local consignment shop. I save most things. I consign things mostly that were gifts or I did not care for. Then I buy bigger ticket items like her cozy coupe or PBK anywhere chair with the credit. They take almost everything and donate the rest.

I sell the higher end brands and things that are still basically new on ebay. For cheaper stuff that is still in good condition, I just send it all in to thredup (online consignment shop, they don't give you much at all, but it's really easy). And then I just donate the rest.

I had some luck in an IG shop. I've tried other places and even though I've had expensive, bnwt items, people want things for like 95% off.

I sell in biannual consignment sales. I enjoy the sorting/washing/tagging, so it isn't a chore. I also sell some on ebay. I try and break even overall on what I spend on DD, with some items selling higher and some lower.

I tried one of the bi-annual or seasonal consignment sales and it was a ton ton ton ton (.... you get the picture) of work.
I'm thinking of trying consignment shops and dropping off clothes and them taking what they want... as for the rest, I'll donate or give it to someone.
Oh, some consignment sales have the ability to pay for tagging. I'm considering it but I want to try to get money back but if i'm paying someone else to tag and I get no return... what's the point?
I have tried posting locally to twin moms and hoping that they come to my house and look through everything I own and I sell them stuff on a package deal.
At this point, getting it out of my house is probably my motivation to get rid of stuff.
If I wanted to make the most amount of money, I would probably join lots of BST groups and list that way. But I don't got time for that!

I'll admit I haven't gotten rid of 1 piece of clothing my kids wore. I'm so bad at this. I have all the best intentions of reselling and I just can't.
