I always wondered how a sticker for your LO could possibly motivate them to do anything.... and then my facebook exploded with friends posting photos of themselves with their "I VOTED" sticker.
I guess it works even for adults!

@sweetchic: Bummer. I got a sticker with the county name on it--it felt pretty good to get it--and pretty silly! I also saw them giving them to kids who went in with their parents (and made it patiently through the long lines!)
I am totally giving LO stickers as rewards when he gets older.

We heart stickers, absolutely. When we go to Costco, the salesperson who checks receipts drew a happy face on the back and she was so thrilled. Everytime we get a receipt after shopping from anywhere now, LO reaches for it...and disappointedly checks where the happy face was supposed to go!

this is too funny. my 4 year old wanted to go to the polls with me and her biggest motivator was to get "The Sticker" (her school was a polling place, so she saw all these people walking around with stickers all day). she also based her vote on which color (red or blue) she liked better... If only it were that easy for everyone to choose a candidate
