I am watching the season finale from last night. I can not believe how Vicki's daughter and son-in-law treat her. Holy cow!

No, you're not. I haven't watched it yet. I remember how Briana gave it to her mom when she started dating Brooks. Besides the name calling I am pretty frank with my mom. If you can't hear the truth from your own kids who else is going to love you enough to tell you? I don't blame them for telling her they didn't wabt him ober at her house. Vicki wants control over them and wanted them at home. Ok, Brooks creeps them out so he should stay away. A real man would just invite his lady over to his plave instead of tell her her kids are the cause of him seeing other people.

I just couldn't believe how MEAN he was...aren't southern boys supposed to respect their elders? He yelled the f-bomb at her a ton of times. It was painful to watch.

I know! Briana has always gotten on my nerves but I chalked it up to Vicki being an annoying parent. But Ryan is so disrespectful and rude!

@ladybee: I just watched!!! OMG! See, I agree with Brianna/Ryan disliking/not trusting Brooks, but it is NOT their house and they have no right to make rules. I feel they should have moved out (Vikki should have told them to!) after the disagreements regarding Brooks started. I think Troy is the reason Vikki didn't want them to move out though, who can blame her! But omg Ryan's reaction to Lydia's mom was so ridiculous. Who the hell is he to say that to a stranger. How about nicely asking her if she minded not putting her feet on the furniture, or offering a pillow/throw to put under her feet? And the "I own- I live here" was very telling. NOT your house, not your place. I bet Brianna was blown away when she saw the ep because Ryan's recounting of it was VERY different than what happened. Lydia's mom clearly did not come at him cussing or anything like he said. So rude. It is stressful living with parents though so I get the stress, just it was not the time/place/situation for any of that. OY!!!
Also I hate Gretchen/Slade. And Lydia is my favorite of all time.

@kjpugs: I love Lydia! I agree. You don't have to like who your mom is dating but what happened to respecting your parents choices enough to STFU, just like you'd want them to do for you! If I was Briana I would be livid when I actually saw the episode!

I like Lydia too, but Heather is kind of awesome. Other than her whole stupid "I'm a serious actress" thing.

@tororojo: her face for some reason reminds me of the Penn State lion. VERY weird. And I hated how she proposed then got on her high horse about not telling anyone at Vikki's party. But yet was getting mad at Tamra about her as a friend not telling her things. It's clear they do not have normal friendships!! (Well, not all of them.)

I haven't watched last night's episode yet..perhaps I'll on-demand it tonight. I agree with Brianna and Ryan's distrust of Brooks but at the same time they can't force their mom to act as they'd want her to. I think they both should move out if they're so adamantly against Brooks being there, but I know that Vicki is probably the one adamant that Brianna stay there with Troy while Ryan is away. It feels like a catch 22.
I love Heather because she seems real, but agree that the "actress" thing gets old. Vicki drives me nuts and I hate that she hates the word "hypocritical" even though she is. As much as Gretchen annoys me lately, she's right on that one.

I watch it even though I roll my eyes at all of those vapid women. I grew up in OC and it isn't all boob jobs and Botox. Vicki is an absolute nut and control freak but I will give her props that she hasn't changed that much since the show started. Cant fault Brianna and Ryan for not liking Brooks but i think they're using their child as leverage with Vicki and thats not cool. Ryan needs some serious mental help after seeing that outburst with Lydia's mom. Based on Brianna's reaction, this isn't the first time he's had a temper tantrum of epic proportions. Love Heather and Lydia. Tamra is a grade A b*tch and I can't quite figure out why all those women fall all over themselves to be friends with her. Alexis seems like a phony but I think she's pretty harmless. I saw her in the grocery store once and she is stunning in person. Gretchen...oh where do I begin? She and Slade deserve each other. They both seem like horrible human beings. Her butchering of the English language is highly amusing. The reunion is going to be intense that's for sure.

My mouth was hanging open at how absolutely rude and out of control Ryan was acting. I agree with him about Brooks, but this episode made me view him a lot differently. Lydia's mom is the sweetest lady and I felt so bad for her!

that was a pretty good finale. I usually skip most of the season because all the good drama builds up in the last few episodes! Oh and the reunions... Three parts, this time... Woohoo!!
Ryan trying to defend his behavior by yelling, "I pay RENT here! I PAY RENT!"... please... that's probably true, but it's obvious he freeloads in some ways there as well! He's probably just one of those belligerent drunks... too bad it got caught on camera, but I bet the producers loved it! I have issues with Vicky but felt bad for the tough spot she was placed in, in that situation.
Bacon vodka, anyone? wtf was that? Someone please tell me that was a joke! You never know with these people and their endorsements though! Lol

Yeah that part when Lydia's mom asked him who he was and he was about to say he owns the house but then took it back and said he lives there. It's not his home, he pays rent to live there. I don't know why Vicki agreed to let them run the show just cause they pay rent. I just wanted to slap him for screaming at that poor woman and Vicki's brother.

I finally watched the finale and Ryan was waaay out of line. Clearly this was a party with invited guests- friends. Vicki wanted them there and to speak to a guest like that was crazy. There's a nice way to make a request of a guest in your home. Ryan doesn't have any manners.
