What did you decide to use when you needed somewhere to sit to comfort your baby? Did you use a glider or a rocker or just a big comfy chair or something else?
To be honest, I hate gliders. I was thinking we could just re-purpose the la-z-boy comfy chair/rocker that is in my husband's office until the baby is a little older.

I think just using the LaZBoy is a great idea. There were so many times in the early days where my LO slept on me that I wish we had just bought a LaZBoy instead of glider + foot stool. I figured I would have been able to sleep better while she slept if I had a LaZBoy since that reclines and my glider does not.

I want to buy a glider! I had to baby sit my nephew when he was 5 months old and the glider was great for putting him to sleep. He loved being fed in the glider too

I LOVE my glider. I found my daughter loves the subtle movement when trying to go to sleep. I got a really cheap one from K-mart because I couldn't fathom spending hundreds of dollars on one from another store. It's comfortable, and LO loves it.

I love my glider! It was more than I wanted to spend, but the only piece of furniture we had to buy for the nursery, and very worth it.

I bought a Little Castle glider that was also a recliner. It is awesome and so comfy.

I have a handmade wooden rocking chair, it was a wedding gift from DH's Grandma and I LOVE it. Still waiting for our LO, but I sit in it all the time to watch TV.

We love our glider. Though I have to admit, we didn't use it as often as we liked, but it looks like a regular piece of furniture so we can repurpose it as adult furniture in the future!

I have an old fashioned rocking chair, and I can't live without it! A recliner does sound like a nice option for a nursery. You will spend so much time in there, and it is best to have a comfy place to rest with your LO.

a lazyboy sounds awesome. my dad has one and it's soooo comfy. a reclining feature could definitely come in handy!
we had a glider and got so much use out of it (and still do), that it was definitely a worthwhile purchase. instead of an expensive ottoman (which we did buy), i would just buy a nursing stool. it really helps you get in a more comfortable position to nurse when you're sitting in a chair.

I never got a glider, really did want one though but decided against it because I couldn't be convinced that I would get that much use out of it. And of course, space would have been an issue. I guess I'll never know what I could have been missing out on!

We didn't buy a chair, I was always most comfy on our couch. It's a great couch to just curl up on, the back is all fluffy pillows so I also use them to lean on when nursing. I never really felt the need for a rocker or glider but I know lots of people love them.

I don't plan on buying a rocker or glider. We do have an Ikea poang chair and ottoman that will match the decor, and plan on using that for now.

I have been considering a glider for the nursery. I don't think our lazy boy chair would fit in the room. My SIL had a glider and she loved it for nursing.

We have a lazy boy that we will use in the nursery. It is so comfy, rocks, reclines, I can put my feet up if I want. I do want to find a little ottoman or footstool though so I can put my feet up while rocking. Hopefully I can find something at goodwill and just refinish it.

My DH bought me a beige Dutailer glider & ottoman from Target. It is super comfy and I hope I use it a lot for nursing!

I reupholstered my husband's grandmother's upholstered rocker. Honestly? I nursed her about 10% of the time in it. It was just an awkward position to be in, since it leaned back. I more often nursed in bed at night, and on the couch with a boppy during the day. I'm glad we didn't buy a new one, or spend lots of money on something we didn't end up using much.

I plan to have a twin size bed or a futon in my nursery, so I don't think I'll need a lazy boy. I would like to get a glider, too.

I'm not really into the glider idea, we have the big comfy Lazy-Boy that rocks instead and a futon in the nursery too. My MIL is convinced that we should get rid of the futon and replace with a glider, but I'm going to try out what we have first.

I hated the look of most gliders, so I just got an Ikea Poang for the nursery. Honestly, it's not super great for nursing, though I expect I will be able to read LO books in it when he can sit still. For nursing, I go sit on the guestroom bed where I have more room. It's especially good now that he can squirm off me!

Lazyboy sounds so nice! I love ours! I do love my glider too though. But I would go with whatever you are comfortable in, baby won't know the difference

We have an Ikea Poang in the nursery and we used to feed DS in it, but it's squeaky when you have to get up. I was trying not to spend any money on another chair, so I got what I paid for, lol.
