I woke up this morning to temp at 4 and after temping decided to test with a cheapie since my temp was a little higher than usual for 11 dpo. I took the test and at the 5 minute mark saw a second line. I woke up DH and was shaking. He looked and thought he saw something too. So exciting, right? Well I decided to bust out my FRER that I've held on to for just such an occasion and it was negative. I was gutted. I tried to go back to sleep for a bit but I just cried and tossed and turned. I think I'm done with early testing and with the Internet cheapies.

Was it different pee? It probably wasn't as concentrated because you had already done the wondfo. Wait a couple hours and try again! even if it was the same cup, different tests have different limits. Hopefully tomorrow will get different results on the frer! Fingers crossed for you.

omg it is early-- that totally does not mean anything yet. I would definitely test again tomorrow or Friday and I am keeping all of my fingers and toes crossed for you!

@LindsayInNY: There was no second line on the FRER. I thought FRER were more sensitive than wondfo but I could be wrong.

I know this "am I?" limbo sucks! I hope this is it for you. FX!!! Maybe try again later tonight, sometimes I seemed to have a darker line on ICs at night.

@MrsTal: After a few months I stopped testing until 15 days. It was hard to do, but the negatives and then the questioning was worse. You just never know though! I will keep my fingers crossed for you.

I got a positive on an internet cheapie and a negative on a digital in the same day, I waited two days and got positives on both then... You might just need to wait another day or two!

I agree with the swisswifestyle. Actually, for whatever reason, I always got my faintest positive with fmu. I would definitely recommend holding and trying again.

@MrsTal: 11 DPO is so early. I would would say test again in a couple of days but I would, personally, not test again with the cheapies. On my last IUI cycle I got a faint line on a Wondfo which was either an evap line or some of my trigger shot lingering, but I vowed then to never use the cheapies again. Good luck!!!

Don't get too down! I got a BFN at 11 dpo ... and 12 ... then, at 13, I started to see lines.

@MrsTal: I'm so sorry, and I hope it's just too early. The last two months I got a faint second line on wondfos and nothing on FRERs. I think I had a bad batch, so I threw them all out and I'm only using FRERs from now on.

I re-tested with a dollar store test and it was negative. That combined with a pretty substantial temp dip this morning make be believe AF is going to show up tomorrow.

@Adira: I know! I did use another cheapie with the dollar store test and saw another shadow so I think that it was an evap yesterday, and the cheapies are faulty. I'm going to toss the rest.

@MrsTal: What color ink are the cheapies? I've heard blue ink dyes can be unreliable.

Thanks everyone for the words of encouragement. I'm calling this cycle over, AF should be here later today, temp dropped to coverline and I'm feeling like I usually do when AF comes to town.
