I love me some Ryan Gosling, but I don't think he's good looking/beautiful enough to play Christian Grey.

I've never read the books, but from what I've heard about it I don't think he is a good fit. I think the guy who plays Chuck Bass on Gossip Girl would make a good Grey because he has the most intense stare.

I'm still uncomfortable with the idea that this book is being made into a movie! Is it a porno? Seriously, I read maybe half and had to get rid of it because it was so not my thing. I still expected there to be vampires.... Yes, I'm that naive.

@birdofafeather: hahaha, I agree with you - I don't understand how they can possibly make this into a movie unless it's NC-17 or higher! I mean seriously, there's so little plot and a TON of sex - what is this movie going to be about???
But back on topic - I can't really picture Ryan Gosling in the role of Christian - but I couldn't picture Heath Ledger as the Joker either, so anything is possible!

So I'm not the only one who didn't read these? lol. Funny, I loved me some Twilight, but I've never like Fan Fiction.
I do, however think Ryan Gossling is uuber sexy. Maybe it could be Ryan Renolds, he has a super dreamy stare.

I still can't imagine how they are going to turn those books into a movie! I agree that I can't picture Ryan Gosling as Christian. My number one choice as Christian is Ian Somerhalder! I think he's perfect for the role!

@chopsuey119: that's sneaky!!! I've gone so long now I'm sort of boycoting them, just to proove a point. Also, my MIL read them and I just don't want to live in a world where I've read the same dirty books as my MIL.
I do loves me some romance novels though!

@prettylizy: Ha this is the same reason I refuse to read it. My MIL asked me if I read it yet, and my mom gave me her copy to read. No thanks!
As for the movie, I imagine that it'll either be NC-17 with no big name actors, or loosely based on the book and way watered down with some B/C list actors. I feel like there's no way Gosling will want to do it either way.

@bebe: OMG, I agree!!!! He would be sooooo good as Christian!!! I didn't really like the book, but if he was the lead role, I would definitely go see it. He's so sexy!

I think he's beautiful, but I think the Christian Gray stuff is totally disturbing and weird so I don't really want to see him play this role. I seriously don't see the appeal of this story at all.
@Leialou: but omg yes, Ed Westwick! He would be good at that. And he's also totally delicious.
