DD has become a crazy effiecent eater. She only nurses 5-10 min at each feed and only on 1 side. I never thought I would say this but I miss our 45 min nursing sessions :(. I love the closeness we share while nursing.

Maybe it will come and go in phases. My LO is typically super efficient, but whenever she's sick or mastering a milestone or just needing extra love, she nurses a lot longer. I love it

My son is very efficient when he wants to be. But now, he wants comfort and when he was sick ugh he just wanted to be on me all the time. And all I wanted was some personal space. Like every "milestone" it is a blessing and a curse.

Oh, I don't miss her being attached to me for so long but, I do enjoy her snoozing in my arms sometimes after she eats. It seems like when she's sick, she will lay there happily and snooze after eating. I soak up every minute of that because it's your choice then. When she was attached to me for a long period of time to eat, I would get anxious and feel like I had to move around!
Last night, she ate right before bed and fell asleep in my arms. I sat with her like that for 20 minutes she was so comfy.

Aww I know what you mean. Right now my supply is going down and so sometimes she nurses really quickly and other times she isn't getting much so she wants to stay latched for a long time! It comes and goes !
