When you go for Mexican do you get salsa or guacamole with your chips? Or both?
We always get salsa because DH isn't a huge avocado fan.

In Texas, you get complimentary salsa with your chips while you wait for your food. We order queso if we want something else, but normally just stick with salsa. If we're out with friends, we'll get guac since they're huge and we can't finish the bowl ourselves. Plus, it's like $8 so yea...

Salsa for me, but DH prefers guac. But I always order and pickup when we go to Chipotle so I always choose salsa haha

We usually get both, but I voted guacamole because that's what I'd pick if I could only have 1 of the 2!

I love guac, but only if it's homemade or made in front of you. There is nothing more disgusting than pre-made and packaged guac. :gag:

@septca: I used to work as a waitress where we did table side guacamole...so awkward! But, it was definitely way yummier than whatever we made earlier that morning

@hellocupcake: Yeah, I think anything tableside that requires a lot of manual effort - guac, opening a bottle of wine - while you are expected to make conversation is totally *awkward.*

@babyjmama: YES! That's where I used to go in Manhattan to get queso!! We would seriously go there JUST for chips + espinaca! Definitely need a lunch date now

ETA: There is one place that I always get guac because they make it table side and it is like heaven.

Queso please! I don't like guac and salsa is just ok. I do like to dip just in sour cream though!
