we plan to have a formal dinner party for LO after she has her baby dedication at church, and I found a good deal on table cloths I was just wondering whether I should purchase satin or polyester.

I personally like the look of polyester better, but that is just my preference. I know that we had a choice between satin and polyester for our wedding linens and I chose the polyester because I didn't like the overly shiny material of satin. Do you think you would like the matte look of polyester or the shiny look of satin?

I am open to both looks! I'm just wondering what other people think looks better and also which fabric is easier to care for. At our wedding we had polyester table cloths but we used satin for the headtable
