I recently learned about a young mother who is desperately seeking a bone marrow transplant for her rare form of leukemia. She has only five more weeks. She has a two year old boy . As an Asian she has only a small chance of finding a bone marrow match since there are a limited number of people registered and typed who could be likely candidates for her.
