So I am on estrogen for my second fet (first was a chemical loss). We are scheduled to transfer Friday. Today I noticed some blood in my cm. I left a message with my nurse but they are closed until tomorrow. I'm so worried right now.
This can't be good can it?

I don't know much about the FET process, but is it possible something harmless caused the blood? I'm thinking something like sex, suppositories, a recent exam? I hope whatever caused it, it clears up so everything is a go for Friday!

@twodoghouse: I'm on estrogen suppositories but didn't have any bleeding last month. So I don't know. It wasn't sex either but we have done that more than last month so maybe the combo. I don't know and that freaks me out.

@brownie: I had breakthrough bleeding while on progesterone suppositories. How much blood is there?

I had some light blood also and was able to continue with the transfer, but ours was a fresh cycle not frozen. Not sure if that matters, but I hope you can proceed too!

@swedishfish: there was definite red blood but it was mixed with regular cm. So I wouldn't say a lot yet. But not a teeny tiny spot either.
I had bleeding in my first trimester with my son 3 years ago but that was after we were released to the ob.

I have decided to put myself on as much bedrest as possible. I have to teach but whenever I'm not teaching I will be lazy.

After my losses, but it wasn't uncommon to have a little bit of spotting a week or so later. Maybe its just a little bit of leftover?

I don't think it will be a problem. I think even estrogen can cause a little bleeding (from irritation ). Don't stress until you know!

I had a little bleeding with suppositories, and was able told it was normal and somewhat expected. Best thoughts to you.
