This was a neat lil quiz!! Makes me miss grade school, kind of. ha! I missed 2 (which causes the temperature to change and what natural resource is extracted using "fracking").

I did this the other day and got them all right too! Some were really easy but I impressed myself with a couple.

I got them all right too, very surprised! About half way through I started having awful high school science exam flashbacks though!

I got one wrong. I never heard the word "fracking" before! ... except on Battlestar Galactica. >_>

Ooo, I took this the other day and got two wrong. Science was never my strongest subject, even though I find it so interesting!

Yay I got them all right! I wish I had studied more science in school; it fascinates me now but I didn't take really any in college!

10 out of 13 correct. I need to step up my science knowledge.

Perfect score... but I'd better get a perfect score if I expect to call myself a scientist. I'm a little disappointed that women did so badly in comparison to men.

10 out of 13. Pretty good since I never went past grade 10 college level biology.
(Our high schools are set up in 3 streams - university, college and "applied")

Got them all, although I think it's possible for someone to be unfamiliar with fracking depending on where you live.

Missed one and thought I'd miss it...what has was most abundant in the atmosphere. I could only narrow it down to two.
And I can't believe so many haven't heard of fracking. I'd highly recommend the documentary "Gasland." I'm sure it's heavily biased, but it's still really interesting and terrifying.

Two wrong and was super impressed with myself! I was an English major and theater kid

One wrong here--took AP Chem in high school and got the one about chemical reactions wrong. Oops.

@spaniellove: Yeah, I guess hydrofracking isn't as controversial unless you live in an area where it's being done/being considered. I WISH I didn't know so much about it. I work for a newspaper in an area that sits on top of the Marcellus Shale, so I've written about it more times than I can count.
@BananaPancakes: I had to watch that movie for work, definitely biased, but informative.
Anyway, I got 2 wrong. The one about lasers and the one about the gas in the earth's atmosphere.
