It's getting warmer and I wonder what you all do about dressing for day care? Do you leave bare knees? Or dresses, shorts etc?
I'm worried about LO getting bruised / dirty knees from crawling!

I only sent her to daycare in pants in her crawling days....but that was in the winter months!

LO doesn't go to daycare, but she still has dirty knees at the end of the day! I'd rather wash her knees than her be hot.

What a timely post! I've been wondering this myself because I always send DD to daycare with light-colored leggings.

P wears shorts around here & crawls freely all the time! Or maybe you could do capris? That way they still cover the knee but are cooler?

I've sent her to daycare in shorts. The floors are mostly all carpeted and I'd rather have her with scraped knees than too hot.

I always tried to keep her knees covered. She wore a lot of those Carter's outfits because they are so thin. The industrial carpet at daycare is really rough. All the teachers wear socks and their socks get holes really fast. I wouldn't want her knees on that.
