King Tempur-Cloud Supreme. It took about a month to get used to but now neither of us could imagine sleeping on anything else. My husband hasn't had back problems since we got it and he would wake up with a back ache every morning before this bed.
-We were warned it would be hot - my hot blooded husband has no problem with the temperature of it.
-We were warned it would smell - it smelled for maybe the month we were getting used to it. Now the smell is gone.
-We tried the sleep number but I HATED that bed. It felt so weird and foreign to me.
(I do not work for Tempurpedic, I swear) haha

We have a pretty cheap queen size one now, that we knew would be for the short term (got it less than 3 years ago), and we get our new Tempurpedic king size bed on Saturday! Haven't slept in it yet but I sure hope we love it, considering it was not exactly the cheapest option. I figure over the course of the next 10-20 years, it's a good investment though.

bought a king sized one from ikea and it's perfectly comfortable (and cheap!)

@mediagirl: Oh yea! I think that is similar to what we got-- we got the Breeze, which is better if you sleep hot, I guess, and the firmer one-- the Cloud is probably the more pillow-y one?

check your warranty!!! A lot of mattresses have a one-year warranty, so if you ignore it too long that will lapse. I would give them a call now to get the process started, if there is nothing they can do at least you tried, but it would suck to miss a chance to get a new mattress or get your money back just due to timing

@LaughLines: That's exactly what I'm doing! Mine actually has a 10-year warranty so I have to call Sleepy's, they send out a technician (ha) to test out my mattress and then give me credit for how much they think my mattress is now worth. My mom went through the same thing, it is SO hard to find a comfortable mattress!!!!

We have a latex foam mattress, plush on top. It was so expensive I'm not telling you the brand and we are considering exchanging it for something cheaper (it was intended to help DH's back problems, which it did marginally, but probably not enough for what we are paying). I LOVE LOVE LOVE it though, if you can afford it!

We have DH's parents' old mattress... haha. I REALLY want a Tempurpedic... so pricey though!
