No, but DH was so confident that it would work that he *withheld* sex one night when he had a lot going on. I LOL'd.

at 39w1d and has not worked for me yet (neither has lots of walking, yoga ball sitting, putt putt with the associated squatting up and down, EPO, RRL tea, or copious amounts of pineapple...) But I guess there is still time!

Yup!
It started contractions 2x and then fizzled but started labor after having my membranes stripped and dtd.

I had sundubu (a Korean spicy tofu soup) + my pastor prayed for me + took my dog for a mile walk + had sex all in one day (can you tell I was desperate?). My water broke at 4am the very next morning, so I voted yes!

I was already having contractions here and there since getting a membrane sweep that morning but be for DH went to bed that night I had him to dtd and after that the contractions grew closer together and I went into labor

@Mae: see if your doc will do a sweep my second one worked for me and I had LO on my due date so right at 40 weeks

@Honeygold89: I'm not terribly anxious to get her out if she doesn't want to come at this point! All the stuff I mentioned is supposed to be good for you generally/good for getting baby into a good position/good for making labor easier when the time comes-- which is why I'm doing it all. But I"m not like, desperate to get her out by any means necessary haha. (ask me again in 2 weeks my answer may change )

@Mae: lol yeah no matter she'll come when she's ready and it probably won't be long so enjoy your time before baby comes

@Honeygold89: yep! We're trying to enjoy our last few baby free days(or weeks perhaps!). But hopefully all this stuff makes labor a little easier whenever she deems us worthy of making our acquaintance haha.

@Mae: I hope it does I did a lot of walking the days before amount other thing and my labor was pretty easy I was able to go med free

Nope. We had sex everyday starting at 39 weeks. She was born 40w3d

I can't be 100% sure but I'm pretty convinced it did. Afterwards my contractions were the strongest they had ever been (up to that point) and pretty regular for a few hours. My water broke less than 12 hours later.

I'm saying yes but it could have been a few different things...or the combination. I had a membrane sweep in the morning followed by sex, followed by a lot of cleaning/stairs/squats/toddler chasing and pick ups.

I voted yes, because I went into labour at 38-2 within 6 hours of the first time we'd done it in a couple weeks. Whether this was a coincidence or not... I guess we'll never know.

Not sure, but maybe! We tried at 40w1d and I had my bloody show about 18 hours later and DD 48 hours after we did.

I think it did with #1 (water broke an hour later) but it didn't with #2.
