We just put ours up last night, but I have some finishing touches to do before I take a photo.

We don't own a tree topper, but after I took this photo I stuck a cat puppet on top.
I'm Jewish, and my husband is not religious. So, it's a seasonal tree with Hanukkah lights!

We got a bigger tree this year (7.5 feet tall) and I'm feeling like our normal amount of ornaments are a little sparse on such a big tree!

Half our ornaments are missing (Chloe has been taking them off and hiding them in her room!!!) and the section directly in front of the girls was decorated by Chloe (can you tell it's her height?)- look how many ornaments are in one small section

Almost all our decorations are felt/wood except for a few special ones that are up high. Dd has been really good at being gentle, she just touches the ornaments and says "ball! Ball!".

Christmas trees instantly make a house feel cozy! I wish we could leave it up year round. Normally I put more ornaments on and a topper but I was lazy with the topper and LO won't stop touching the ornaments so the few I did have down there are now replaced with the white yarn puffs!

@kjpugs: @Kezzeranne: thanks! It's a precision pet gate. Or play yard? We have two.. one houses our two small dogs when we're not home. We turn them upside down for indoor use so the tips don't damage the floors. We got one at petCo and the second someone had left out for free on the road!

Our first year with a fake tree! I surprisingly don't miss the real one.
