I am so lazy. Our laundry is in the basement, which is great because then it doesn't bother us when it's running but sometimes I get SO lazy and will put something in the wash and then just let it sit there for hours/days...*blush*. I am so gross. Then it just makes double the work because then I need to at the very least rinse the clothes again before I put them in the dryer to ward off any musty smell.
Please tell me I am not the only lazy bee?

oh boy. i do that a lot..its horrible. i end up re washing because our basement is so damp to begin with.
um, i'm super lazy about the floors upstairs because LO doesn't crawl up there. dog hair everywhere. it's so embarrassing, no one is allowed up there!
also, I only change the sheets when I really remember to. sigh.

@sorrycharlie: totally with you on the sheets. I think I posted the other day that Owen leaked on our sheets and then I completely forgot about it. We proceeded to sleep on said sheets for days before washing....oops!

Laundry is my nemesis! I leave loads in the wash for days, I've been known to leave clean clothes in the dryer for days and fish them out of there when needed. I tried to negotiate doing ALL of the other cleaning in trade off for DH doing laundry, but he hates it too, so no dice 
@petunia354: I've done that with the sheets before, too. Meh, if I put a towel over it, I'm not *really* sleeping on dirty sheets, right...?

@petunia354: My laundry is down in the garage and we just live upstairs. I TOTALLY leave laundry in the wash like this. Or in the dryer for a couple of days.

The only reason laundry gets moved from the dryer is that we cloth diaper and I need the dryer to be empty sometimes. I now plop the pile down on our bed so we have to fold/put away, because if I don't I'll just plop it in a basket and get clean clothes out from there in the AM.

DH and I also just live out of our laundry baskets. We hardly ever fold and put away our laundry. On the rare occasion that we do fold, we have what we call "folding parties" so that we can fold our laundry together and make it fun

This thread just reminded me that I left laundry in the washing machine yesterday that I had to re-wash... The left in overnight, and forgot to wash again today.

Laundry is my least favorite chore ever! Like everyone else, I leave mine in the washer or dryer for days. I wish our washer/dryer was upstairs instead of in our basement; it's so easy to forget about it when I can't see it or hear the machines go off!

I hate folding the clean laundry. I have no problem getting it washed but the folding never gets done. All of our laundry is clean right now (except for yesterday and today's clothing) but it's all piled up in laundry baskets in our room. It's a mountain of clothes!

I throw clean laundry on the couch and it takes a while for me to put everything away. like a couple days. 
I don't fold laundry. I just throw in our dressers. (partly because DD pulls clothes out and throws everything on the floor, partly because I'm lazy).
I let dishes pile up until I run out.
There. Now everyone knows my lazy secrets!!!

I still haven't changed my sheets since realizing a couple days ago that I don't know when I changed them last. but my excuse is the blanket and duvet cover need to be washed too, so just wanted to wait till everything will be clean.

Yes to laundry. I'll have piles of clean clothes that just need to be put away. I also don't put my clothes away at night--just get into bed.
The hot water stopped working for a little bit in my bathroom sink. I became lazy about washing my face at night.

@chopsuey119: I wish I could do that. The exter of my laundry ignoring is forgetting it in the washing machine. We have two cats & they're like OMGCLEANWARMLAUNDRYMUSTLAYINBASKET so I'd have to rewash if I didn't fold & put away right away.
I used to fold and sort, then lay the clothes on our bed in piles to put away later & those furry fuckers would lay on top of our clothes. 1300 square feet of living space and they lay on my underpants.

-Swept/dusted my house for the first time three months after moving in and its been a month since I've done it
- Have recycling piled up on the back porch because I can't be bothered to take it to the recycling place
- Ditto the laundry problem
- I've let dishes pile up for as long as a week before but now can only stand it for three days, so that doesn't happen anymore

Dishes are going to be the death of me. Right now my dishwasher is clean but it's full because i'm lazy and haven't put it away..so that means that both sinks and part of the counter are covered in dirty dishes. Yuck
I washed a load of clothes that a coworker gave me for LO last night because they smelled mildewy, annnd then I forgot so they're still in my washing machine. Which means I have to wash them again when I go home..because they'll smell mildewy.
@Mrs. Jump Rope: same thing here! My sheets are full of dog hair. It's summer and the dog sleeps with us, so i'd literally have to wash sheets every other day to keep them hair free. I just act like I don't notice and DH doesn't say anything
Our living room floor is covered in dog hair too, DH has been brushing the dog like every day and I just can't keep up..it's EVERYWHERE. I told DH this morning that his hair was starting to turn gray, so I went to rub my hands through his hair...annnd it was dog hair. bahahaha
I'm an awful homemaker. Our house is so nasty right now I would just die if someone came over and had to see it.

Our laundry is I the same floor and I'll still forget to put it in the dryer. And I'm really lazy about putting my laundry away. DH and I have just been pulling clean clothes out of the laundry basket. Oh and I'm so lazy with taking out the trash. There is a bag of trash that has been sitting on the ledge in my house for over a week that I have yet to take to the trash can outside. DH usually takes the trash out but I think he's refusing to take this bag since I'm the one who left it there.

@Mrs. Jump Rope: Ha! Our dog sheds so much, we've accepted his fur all over our clothes as a fact if life. DH and I joked when we'd find the first dog hair on E. He was 2 days old...in the hospital!
I could do laundry all day (I have a ridiculous system of folding out of the dryer that groups everything in a way that makes it faster to put away) because I would MUCH rather do laundry than dishes. I've been known to leave some fairly grody dishes in the sink and say, "Well, I did the laundry..." ha!
And forget about emptying the sink food trap thing before we had a garbage disposal. Ewwwww!

Our laundry sits in baskets folded for longer than I care to admit. I HATE putting clothes away, that's DH job, and he tends to put it off for several days. It drives me bonkers but I refuse to give in and do it myself!

@Espion: I'm allergic to cats, and this spring we ripped out the carpet and put in laminate flooring. I'm ridiculously anal about keeping cat hair off everything now.
I sweep/dust the floors muliple times a day, I wash the curtains weekly, wash the sheets and blankets compulsively, and don't let them get on our clothes.
I've somehow managed to be pet induced asthma symptom free since April. So I've turned into a cleaning freak, but I get to keep my cats?!
