So daycare told me today that my son (about 2.5yo) was having some trouble sharing. I totally get it. He's the only kid in the house and the only grandchild so he gets LOTS of attention and rarely has to share
What can we do at home to teach him how to better understand that not everything is his and the he needs to be able to take turns? We try to model sharing in our behavior at home, but I bet the hellobee community knows a fun game or role play we can incorporate! Thanks!

Use stuffed animals as puppets. Make a puppet show and have them identify with the character by talking about easily agreeable topics and then sneak in the sharing message. Later have LO be one of the puppets and role play a sharing situation. Find a sharing book from library to reinforce. Have him share something with you after you decide to share something with him he really really wants.

There's a game called Zingo, my son played it a lot in preschool and it really helped him to learn to wait his turn. I am not sure if it's aimed at kids that are a tiny bit older (he was 4 that year) or not.
Other things that worked for us were to designate some of the toys as mine, not his. He'd have to ask me if he wanted to play with them, and that also clicked for him in terms of understanding not everything is his (only child).
