My 19.5m just peed in the potty!!!!!
It'll probably be a standalone occurrence for months but still. Funny, because I was just thinking the other day she is showing signs of readiness and I think I might try after she turns 2.

Just follow her cues! If she's interested and the potty is available, you are already on the road to toilet learning. 
I think people do themselves a disservice when they think of "potty training" as this linear process that has such a definitive start date and end date. Like, "We're going to potty train so-and-so over the weekend." She might well be in underwear at age two! You never know. Just keep offering and see what she does. Ellie was two on the nose when she started in underwear full-time with no accidents. Lorelei knows the main ingredients-- what it feels like to need to go, and how to use the muscles to make that happen in the place she chooses. Now she just has to decide that the potty is always the place.

@Mrs. Twine: thank you! That is good to hear! I had exist been offering the potty at bath time for the past month or two. Tonight, she actually peed! Sometimes she likes to go into the bathroom and sit on her potty. Lol
She understands pee pee and poo poo. I don't think she is ready yet for knowing to hold it, etc.
But I was just thinking about cute pull ups! Hehe We'll see what the future brings.

@locavore_mama: It's not so much knowing how to hold it as it is being able to actively use the muscles. So, for example, I can pee pretty much any time I want, but if I'm just standing around and don't "need" to, no pee comes out. So your daughter is learning how to actively use those muscles. Maybe consider having a potty out where it's more visible and accessible and try offering other times when she typically needs to go. I always offer to Lorelei when I see her start to poop. She has yet to take me up on it, though

@Mrs. Twine: I was thinking about this this morning when she told me "mommy, poo poo" and I smelled and there was nothing. I thought I wonder if she is telling me she is going to go poo poo. Maybe I should try to plop her on the potty! But pure I'm not fully awake laziness won. And yes she did in fact poop in 5 minutes. LOL
