What brands do you recommend for LOs starting to walk and that actually stay on their feet? 
I have a couple of Robeez which I think are nice but wanted to know other options and if there are any cheaper ones out there. TY!

DS first pair were See Kai Run smallers! They were great first shoes as he was becoming a solid walker, soft soled. I bought a pair during one of their sales for 20$?

We just got some stride rite first walkers for DS, they stay on really well but they aren't cheaper than robeez.

We had a pair of Robeez and a pair of Ministar by Bobux from Target ($20) that I really liked.

SKR Smallers are great, and Robeez are also great. Check local secondhand stores, because a lot of times shoes at that age are hardly worn! You can score some great deals.

Ministar by Bobux at Target are great--similar to Robeez. I also really liked the Pedipeds originals....on sale.

I'm a giant salt water sandal fan. Cute, durable and she can walk in them. I still have my first pair from 100 years ago.

Not an original response, but we did robeez, then stride rite early walkers and SKR Smallers. Not cheaper but I really wanted to make sure to get her good quality shoes for that stage. We also never have more than two pairs of shoes that fit at a time so I don't mind that they are a bit more.

Our 12 month old is wearing baby moccs (not Freshly Picked because I can't spend $60 on a pair of baby shoes-- so I get them from IG shops for $15/pair) for now. I'll move him to SKR Smallers when he gets more steady.
