My 13 month old has tiny feet . . . a size comparison would be that she wears size 2 pre-walkers (3-6 months) from Carter's. I ordered her some sneakers from See Kai Run in a size 3, but they are still waaay too big. Any suggestions?

See Kai run's smaller line? She probably wears 0-6 month size right now!

what about the smaller line from See Kai run? My son is walking in those right now. Only problem is there is suede on the bottom so they can get wet. I don't know what the weather is like where you live.

@autumnlove: I thought about those . . . but I was hoping to get her some *real* shoes(?) . . . I worry about her feet being protected at daycare!

Following, cause I think that we are going to have the same issue.

@MsLipGloss: I found that SKR runs really wide! So especially for small little feet, they will probably always feel too big.
I would look into pedipeds, or very small sneakers with very thick socks!

Have you tried Stride Rite? They have rubber soled shoes for even the smallest feet and should be able to get her into the proper size.

@littlek: @mediagirl: I tried Stride Rite - the size 3s are still too big.

@MsLipGloss: I took my LO to Stride Rite around the same time (12-13 months) and had her feet measured. She was wearing some size 2 pre-walkers but was almost a size 4 in Stride Rite shoes.
I bought her a pair of their Step 2 Early walkers:

Good luck, sizing for baby shoes is confusing!
ETA-Whoops, just saw that you tried Stride Rite!

@MsLipGloss: have you looked at Target? We bought some shoes for A there and we got size 4 but I pretty sure I remember seeing even smaller sizes like 2 & 3.

@MsLipGloss: What about Tiny Toms? They have a T2, and I got H the silver glitter ones and they're so adorable:). I like that there's a sole...Lots of shoes that size are soft sole...

My son wore the SKR smaller line until around 16 months! They are sturdier than crib shoes and great for early walkers. Also, try stride rite.

@PrincessBaby: we had issues with tiny toms staying on LOs feet. His foot kept slipping out of the shoe.
@MsLipGloss: you can find Pediped on amazon. They have a lot of cute girl styles.
