DD is taking a Dance Sampler class and this Saturday is Tap - obviously I don't want to buy tap shoes for 1 class (I looked on CL but didn't find any in her size).
Teacher said shoes that "click" work too.
What does that mean? Where do I find shoes that click?? All the shoes I have seen have rubber soles

Anything with a hard sole that would make a sound when she 'tapped' Some kind of dress shoes perhaps?
You could also take shoes to a shop and have taps added to the bottom.

Not sure if you feel like they are safe to walk in, though. Maybe would be ok for a one time class for fun?

You can do something similar to that link by taking bottle caps and hammering them into the soles of tennis shoes (just make sure the sole is as deep as the sides of the caps)
